Trace the origin and the 7-million-year-long history of our lineage with Human Odyssey at the California Academy of Sciences with an exclusive event for Dartmouth alumni, family, and friends. The exhibit surveys the milestones that dot human history, offering exciting displays of early hominid species and the migratory paths they took to populate the Earth.

At the start of the evening, Jeremy DeSilva, associate professor in anthropology, will discuss the origins of bipedalism (upright walking) and introduce new fossil discoveries that reveal a complicated evolutionary history. A reception and time for guests to explore the exhibit on their own will follow.
