"Dead Simple Human-Powered Airplane" is the brainchild of Alec Proudfoot. This impressive project was years in the making before first flying in December 2015. The project has a Wikipedia page at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DaSH_PA where you can learn more. The team is now engaged in final preparations for additional flights late this year.

A final build session for upcoming flights will be done in the team’s workshop near San Jose airport over the weekend of October 27.  Attendees will receive a tour of the workshop by Alec, followed by an optional chance to do some hands-on work on the plane’s components. This is a family-friendly event. Participants should be able to follow directions and well-behaved; the minimum age is 10 years old.  We can accommodate 20 people for the tour, but the build session will be limited to 8 people.  If you’re interested in the build session, please send an email to Ken Hauck at khauck@pacbell.net.  Participation will be handled in the order email requests are received.

The exact address and directions will be sent to registrants by email before the date of the event.
