Friends of Edgewood Park, Dartmouth alum docents Sandy Bernhard ’82 and Frank Peale ’80 will lead us on a Dartmouth-only hike in Edgewood Park. This year we will gather at the Education Center at the main entrance to the park at the base of Edgewood Road, officially 6 Old Stagecoach Road. (Restrooms and water available.)
We will do a loop through the woods, covering completely different trails from previous years, to catch the many beautiful woodland flowers, as well as many flowers in the coastal scrub and grassland communities. Elevation gain of about 400 feet on a very gently climbing trail.
Wear sturdy shoes and sunscreen and bring water, a hat, and a snack if you wish.
